I wanted to share something very important that I know most women\/girls would be able to relate especially if you are a mom like me. So, basically, I started my holistic wellness journey way back in the day because I never liked chemicals around me. It bothered my skin and overall wellness. But..to be honest I didn&#8217;t start taking it quite seriously until I realized my menstrual cramps are no joke. I mean on every month in a calendar I had to gulp with water one Advil or Tylenol whichever one was the lighter in dose. I went to my mom&#8217;s ancient Pakistani doctor and told him about my menstrual cramps. I remember telling him clearly that this pain is not normal. It indicates something is off in my body. He took it very non seriously smiled a little and said &#8220;don&#8217;t worry, most women have it. Once you have a baby, this will go away.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); font-size: 1rem;\">Anyways, after that enlightening conversation with a doctor, my mom and I gave a look at each other and had our own moment to process lol. So, that was the last time I discussed this totally feminine issue with a male doctor or to say clearly a medical doctor who got no clue what holistic wellness is because all they know is how to sell medicines that he prescribed too which I didn&#8217;t take.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let me tell you guys what I did to heal myself. I promise it&#8217;s way easier than you think but you have to put an effort obviously. Being a certified nutritionist things are a little easier for me to understand so I started with the basic blood test. Everything came out fine except little elevated blood sugar, so I reduced my carbs intake. I searched about trace minerals and bingo I realized I&#8217;m not getting enough of those. I started taking magnesium, selenium, iron, and copper-rich diet and started taking those supplements too. In short, I started eating omega 3 rich fatty acids (found in fish, hemp seeds, chia seeds, etc) and reduced my carbs intake. The workout I already was doing so checkmark there.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I also stopped buying any random toxic sanitary products (yes a lot of them are toxic and directly absorb chemicals in your vagina if you are using tampons especially). I buy now cotton-based pads free of any chemicals. I also looked around what other toxic products I could be using, so I changed my makeup products too even though I&#8217;m not a makeup person and hardly do it. Now years later with one beautiful daughter, I had easy postpartum and ZERO pain postpartum period.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So try these things before you go for any medical interventions to fix yourself!<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Balance your hormones (crucial) with a wholesome diet (omega 3 fatty acids (salmon and tuna), leafy greens vegetables, and organic\/grass-fed beef, goat, chicken etc)<\/li>\n<li>Take supplements for the trace minerals (<b style=\"color: #202124; font-family: Roboto, arial, sans-serif;\">iron, manganese, copper, iodine, zinc, cobalt, fluoride, and selenium)<\/b>\u00a0in case missing in your diet. I personally take zin, selenium, and magnesium. Magnesium especially played a big role in easing my cramps.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Replace all the toxic products with the organic with the clean ingredients.
